When: Sunday 9 September 2018
Where: Edale Skyline
Join us on a 33km (20.5 mile) stomp, taking in stunning sites and panoramic views across our beautiful Peak District.
This is our first ever fundraising walk. Joining us will be a step towards stamping out child sexual abuse and exploitation.
Take on our stunning 33km walk from Edale, across some of the most famous sites in the Dark Peak, including Kinder Scout, Mam Tor and the Hope Valley. The event will be a great experience for those looking for a walk that is challenging yet achievable, with a breathtaking backdrop and knowledgeable and experienced guides.
You must be at least 18 years old to take part. Depending on your personal levels of fitness, we would recommend you do some training for the challenge. It may also help to sign up with a friend or colleague.
Safe & Sound’s September Stomp: £30
Your September Stomp entry includes:
- Snacks and refreshments including bacon or veggie cobs, crisps, chocolate, fruit, water and hot drinks at two locations on the route
- Medical support
- Pictures of the walk available to download after the event to use on your social media or fundraising page
- Full welcome pack, including: fundraising guidance, recommended clothing, what to bring with you, distances, meeting points, timings and suggestions for local places to stay (if required) and to enjoy celebratory drinks afterwards
Your entry fee goes towards the cost of organising the event, but it’s your fantastic fundraising efforts that will help us to support more young victims of sexual abuse.
We are asking September Stompers to aim to raise at least £200 each.
