To recognise National Children’s Day on Sunday 12th May – a day to celebrate and advocate the rights and freedoms of children – Safe & Sound and delivery and logistics company Derby Express Couriers are working in partnership to create a giant Derby-wide game of Pass the Parcel.
Derby Express is the first choice for businesses across Derby to deliver their parcels safe and sound and they are demonstrating their commitment to the Derby community by teaming up with us at Safe and Sound as their chosen Derby-based charity.
To kick off a week of awareness and fundraising – and to launch our partnership – following National Children’s Awareness Day on 12th May, Derby Express drivers will be delivering special Safe and Sound parcels to their customers and layers will be unwrapped to reveal prizes and information about how we help local young people. Lots of social media buzz and publicity is planned for all of the companies involved.
Director and Owner of Derby Express Couriers Susan Hill said:
“We loved the idea of showcasing our great delivery service and showing our customers that we really care about Derby and its community by working with this amazing children’s charity.
“We are a family company and it was important to us to support a like-minded charity and one working here in Derby where we have been serving our customers for more than 30 years.
“Our staff are very excited to be supporting Safe and Sound and we hope our customers will enjoy joining in and being part of the game, helping this Derby charity to transform the lives of children and young people”.
