CSE Resource Launch

Our Cruel Kindness educational film and CSE resource pack is launched

Just before Christmas we launched our Cruel Kindness film and educational resource pack to an audience of child protection professionals and featuring inspiring speeches by the young film makers and a keynote speech by Dr Helen Beckett.

The film and resource pack is now available to buy and is ideal for all those working with young people in safeguarding roles – whether that be in schools, youth groups, LSCBs, children’s homes or voluntary organisations.

We’re also offering a 10% discount on the resource to all those who book on our national justWhistle CSE training courses for safeguarding professionals. Please find out more about our open training courses.

About Cruel Kindness

Safe and Sound XXVThe Cruel Kindness resource pack features a short awareness raising film (in DVD format)  written and directed by young people that Safe and Sound have worked with, aimed at preventing other young people becoming victims of child sexual exploitation.

This sits alongside a downloadable PDF resource pack with activities focussed on educating young people aged 11-18 about child sexual exploitation; spotting the signs and what constitutes healthy relationships, along with guidance for those conducting the sessions.
