WHAT WE DID IN 2017

Action

We delivered awareness raising presentations to 113 parents and carers.

We trained 4324 professionals from across the UK working with children, young people and families, enabling them to respond more effectively to victims of child sexual exploitation.

We delivered awareness raising sessions and supported other awareness sessions to more than 4000 children and young people in schools.

what_we_did

We provided direct, specialist support to 153 young people in Derby and Derbyshire who were identified as being, or at significant risk of being, sexually exploited to help them move to a place of physical, mental and emotional safety.

We reached more than 200 people through our awareness raising activities (speaking at conferences and events and delivering talks to community groups).
