Why donate to Safe and Sound?
A sexually exploited child is at risk of rape, sexual assault, physical violence, mental health issues, sexually transmitted infections, trafficking and potential future problems with drugs, alcohol and access to mainstream education and employment.
A child from any gender, culture, ethnicity, religion or social background is at risk of this form of abuse.
Collectively, we can prevent this happening to any child, ever.
Financial support through grants, donations, charitable activities and community group fundraising all helps us to continue to provide support to young people and families affected by child sexual exploitation.
Some of our recent donors include:
Ingles Charitable Trust
The Duke of Devonshire’s Charitable Trust
Derbyshire Federation of Women’s Institutes
We’d also like to thank all the women’s groups, Mother’s Unions, Rotary Clubs, churches and various community groups who regularly support us through fundraising activities and donations.
Talks for community groups
We can provide educational talks about what we do to community groups who wish to find out more about child sexual exploitation, how we are tackling the issue in the region and to help you to raise awareness in your area.
