Not-for-Profit Award Winners!

We're delighted to announce that we are winners of the Derby Telegraph Not-for-Profit award!

Amongst the wealth of fantastic not-for-profit organisations working  in Derby in a climate which is more challenging than ever, we could not have been prouder  to be announced the winners of the Not-for-Profit category at the Derby Telegraph Business Awards ceremony last night.

“A lot of the work we do is very sensitive and highly confidential; we have a considered profile which means that details about our service  are not always that well known. That’s why it’s fantastic for the organisation and the team to see that their work and the support we offer to young people collectively, is valued by the wider community. We have a great, confident team here and this will give us all an extra boost to continue, knowing that the great things we are achieving are being recognised.” Nicola Dalby, Acting Chief Executive.

“We have a passionate, dedicated, loyal and hardworking team, who always go the extra mile in their individual roles  and in their  contributions for the children and young people we support. Winning this award cements all of this.” Sharon Jackson, Service Manager.

We’d like to give a big thanks to Nikki Graham from Sellick Partnership for sponsoring the Not-for-Profit category and for selecting  us as the winner from a category which we imagine was particularly difficult to judge. We’d also like to show our appreciation and support for the other fantastic Finalists in our category,  Foundation Derbyshire  and First Steps Derbyshire; it makes us very proud of our local area to know there is such a strong and efficient support offer available for those that need it most.

We really enjoyed the evening; meeting new people, seeing old faces and sharing the experience with our fantastic team. We’d like to say a big congratulations to all the other winners too.

If you’d like to further support the work we do, we have many opportunities available from corporate sponsorship opportunities to fundraising ideas. Please  email info@safeandsoundgroup.org.uk for more information.
