Derby Daybreak Rotary fundraise for us

Nathalie Walters, our Chief Executive attended an event at CHICKS Charity Daleside Centre near Ashbourne on Sunday, and was presented with the cheque by Club President, Dave Laughlin.

Nathalie said, “The Rotary Club of Derby Daybreak has supported Safe & Sound for a number of years, and we are very grateful for their continued backing. This donation will make a real difference to our work with children and young people.”

The £750 raised could enable us to support a young person through the criminal justice system as a victim of child sexual abuse.

We are always looking for dedicated and enthusiastic fundraisers who are passionate about making a difference to the lives of children and young people in Derbyshire who are at risk of exploitation, sexual violence and abuse or have already become victims.

Your amazing fundraising efforts help us to continue supporting young people in Derby and Derbyshire – to help those at risk; and to support those that have become victims to move to a place of physical, mental and emotional safety.

Are you part of a similar community group in Derbyshire who could fundraise for us or support us as one of your charities of the year? We have plenty of ideas and ways we can help to support you, whether you’re organising a quiz, a bake-off or a coffee morning, please get in touch.
